Match Report
King's College, Taunton Boys-U14A vs  Saint Cecilia's Church of England School
On: Thursday, 28 Mar 2019
Venue: Away

King's U14s travelled to Rosslyn Park in confident mood, but fell in their first match hurdle losing 22 v 21 to St. Cecilia's. It was a harsh lesson for the boys about starting well and not allowing space to a big fast runner. In spite of thrilling comeback in the second half with Alex Kern to the fore, the boys could not capitalise on some late chances to take the win. The second game v Glantaf school was much improved against a well drilled 7s team. Captain Josh Schreiber and Jacob Wakeling shone in a convincing win 26 v 5. This was followed by 24 v 0 victory over Plymouth College, in a game ended prematurely after Rhys Thomas suffered a shoulder injury, but happily without significant damage. The boys travelled home after a fun experience and with so much potential for a successful U15s season.
